Consulting Services
Lynx provides research, consulting and clinical advocacy services on an hourly fee basis:
Questions for providers before consultations, tests or procedures
Condition-specific research
Communication directly with treating providers by the Lynx Physician Consultant
Drug effect — drug interaction reports
Clinical data flow charts
Options in complementary and alternative medicine
Health system “navigation” (provider selection; help with referrals/appeals involving coverage)
Reminders for medical appointments and upcoming medical tasks
Lynxcare consulting services are billed at hourly rates from $40 - $300, depending on the level of professional expertise required. Determining the scope of work is an interactive process, during which costs are estimated as objectives are clarified. At all times, the subscriber controls the process.
Lynxcare services are reimbursable under many Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flex Plans, and may be deductible under IRS rules. Major credit cards are accepted and scholarship funding may be available for some Participants.
